For Memorial weekend, our family headed down to Big Sur to do some camping with our ward. It was an amazingly beautiful place, right on the coast. We hiked to a waterfall right on the beach which was one of the most beautiful sights I have truly ever seen. The kids had so much fun - we hardly saw them as they were off exploring with their friends all day. It was a bit hard with Bryant - keeping him out of the fire and the poison ivy was quite a task. We camped for two nights (which I haven't done since college). Camping is alot of work but I guess I'd do it again - for the kids!

Looks and sounds like you had so much fun. I am jealous we missed it! Maybe someday you could take us there. We haven't been camping since Spencer was a baby (so sad), but Brett wants to go sometime soon. I don't think it will be as beautiful as your experience, but hopefully all will go well!
What a way to spend the weekend! I miss that place but am so glad that you guys are there and loving every minute of it!

Haleigh wanted to see your blog. She just told me Bryant is SO CUTE! Well first she asked who is that -- then she said he was SO CUTE!!! It is a little sad we are missing out on the little things --when are we getting the kids together???? Haleigh was just hanging out with Brett at the office on Wednesday. She was wishing she could be at the beach with your kids!
