Utah 4th

We spent a fun filled Fourth of July weekend in Utah with Craig's family.  We began our 4th running the Freedom Run races in Provo.  Craig and Ashlyn ran and 5K while mom, Dallin, and Breann did the 1 miles fun run.  It's always fun to be in Provo and reminisce of our wonderful years there at BYU.  I even happened to run into two of my college roommates while there.  That evening, we enjoyed fireworks at Craig's parents house in Highland.

The kids enjoyed doing their own fireworks more than watching the big shows in the skies all around us.

The kids couldn't get enough rides on Grandpa's motorcycle.  Poor Craig (yeah right) spent hours riding the kids around the streets and hillsides in Highland.

We celebrated Breann's 8th birthday while there.  We had a big dinner and party with aunts & uncles, cousins, grandparents, and great grandparents.

Monday we headed up American Fork canyon to enjoy the beautiful Utah mountains.  The kids loved to play in the river in between rides on the quads.

No canyon adventure is complete without roasting hot dogs and marshmallows!

Can't get enough of those 'marshmallow sandwiches'!

Tuesday we attended the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house.  It's always neat for the kids to have the opportunity to walk through a temple and talk about what happens there.  We had a wonderful experience visiting this beautiful new temple.

We had a great visit with family on this quick trip to Utah.  We headed home Wednesday to get ready for Breann's baptism weekend.  Thanks to all the Bruschke's for spending time with us and helping make it a great weekend!
