Singapore has two basic seasons - rainy season and not rainy season (where it still rains, just not as much). We've just started the rainy season and I love it! It rains almost everyday for a few hours. It's usually not just a little rain either, it pours - with lots of lighting and thunder that's so loud it makes you jump. During these storms, you feel the power of the universe as the sky feels so alive. This is one thing I will miss someday when we leave.

I love a good rainstorm, too. Singapore sounds a lot like the midwest in late spring/early summer. You're lucky to get the great weather for much of the year.
