Sluff days..

This kids had a few days off school (teacher days) a while back so we decided to do a few fun things around town.  We owed a few of the kids a trip to Universal Studios Singapore - a Christmas gift from last year.  We took advantage of this non-public holiday weekday and headed there for some rides and fun.  It was great because it wasn't at all crowded - I don't think we waited more than 20 mintues for any ride.

 

 The next day dad sluffed work and we took a ferry to a sister island called Pulau Ubin.  We rented bikes and rode around the island- conisting mainly of beautiful tropical rainforest.  We saw a few creatures in the wild: monkeys, some monitor lizards, and wild boar. 

After dragging some against their will (teenagers and family activities don't always aline), I think they would all admit it was a pretty fun day.
