For Christmas, Bryant and Alexa got a swingset from Santa. Nothing major, a simple, inexpensive, little swingset with a few swings and a slide. This has been the most wonderful thing! Both of them can't wait to go outside each day and they spend so much more time out there now. We have a large backyard but there wasn't really anything to draw them out there until now. Alexa in particular puts her shoes and jacket on each morning and heads out to swing or ride her bike (without training wheels now!). The only problem for Bryant is his need for someone to push him. Luckily he has enough sibling or sibling friends that he can usually get someone to help him out.Sunday, January 25, 2009
The blessed swingset..

I love that your swing set it getting good use! Alexa is looking so grown up. And why DOESN'T it surprise me that she is riding a bike without training wheels... that's a Bruschke trademark!! Eve is too scared to even look at a bike with trianing wheels, maybe it's because our driveway is so steep it could pass for a roller coaster.
That is too funny. I remember the joy the swingset and bike riding brought on good ole S Marie Ct. I miss those days!
Fun stuff. I wish that our backyard had such a draw for our children. Maybe if it was a little bigger?!? Glad they are enjoying it so much!
We could use one of those swing sets! Sounds like good times.
