I haven't blogged for a while - just can't seem to sit down and get it done. Besides, there didn't seem to be anything exciting going on. However, I did take some random pictures of happenings over the past week. Here ya go!

Last Sunday Bryant wore a tie and belt for the first time (he usually just wears an untucked button down shirt). He was so proud of his new accessories - especially the belt. He loves 'church day' and going to 'class'.

This is a really bad picture - sorry - but you get the idea! (I need to learn how to use my camera). Anyway, last weekend we didn't go anywhere for the holiday (President's Day) so the kids decided to 'camp' in the family room Sunday night (since there was no school Monday). They arranged their sleeping bags and pillows and we all sat around the fire telling stories till bedtime. A simple yet fun evening.

It rained here most of the week. We get a lot of rain in the winter time. I love it because it makes everything so green. One day I returned home and couldn't find Ashlyn. I finally found her out shooting baskets in the rain. She's playing basketball right now and really enjoys it. It's fun to have her really latch onto this sport - she plays whenever she can and is really doing well. She's found a sport she really has a natural talent for.

Wednesday was our ward's New Beginning program for Young Women's. Being the 2nd counselor in YW, I was involved in the planning and carrying out of this event. One of my assignments, dessert. For some reason I chose to do eclairs (I was probably really craving them one day). They turned out so pretty, I had to take a picture. Luckily, two others helped make them so I didn't have to do all the work. They were good too! We've been doing alot in YW lately that has been quite consuming (a garage sale/Valentines fundraiser, new Beehive breakfast, and New Beginnings all in one week). However, I love the opportunity I get to work with the now 12 Beehives in our ward - one being my own daughter. These are 12 truly amazing girls that I'm blessed to be with. They are all active, strong girls. I realize all the time how strong these spirits are that have been saved for these last days. I'm also so grateful that Ashlyn has this great group of friends to strengthen and influence her.

How funny, Thomas and Eve call Sunday "church day" too. Cami, you're a great mom. I know it from knowing you personally, but your pictures and posts on your blog are evidence as well. Pat yourself on your back!
