This past weekend, Craig and I took Ashlyn to see the musical Wicked in San Francisco. I was really blown away and have been thinking a lot about it since. It was really a phenomenal production and I really enjoyed it. It reminded me how much I love great broadway productions. I love good music and there is such power that comes from a great song performed on stage. I didn't want to stand up at intermission after the 'Defying Gravity' number concluded - I didn't want it to end. The cast was fantastic! I really enjoyed it and highly recommend it if you haven't had the chance to see it.

Did Ashlyn enjoy her night out with just mom and dad? I am glad that you liked it. If only plays were not more expensive, I would go every week!
I'm so glad you all loved it. Brennan and I saw it a few years ago and I get to take my girls at the end of next month. I'm so excited. I didn't think it would live up to all the hype, but it totally did and it's hard to explain why, it's not like it's an earth-shatteringly profound story line, it's just so well done and the music is so amazing you can't help but be completely entranced the entire time. Wow, what a long comment, sorry!
Joseph took me for our anniversary in LA and I really liked it too--"Defying Gravity" was also my favorite. Joseph got a kick out of "Popular." I wonder if you saw the same cast as us--the green witch was amazing. Cats is here in Singapore and I was thinking of taking the girls but they might be too young.
