Our summer adventures began in Chicago, Illinois. We left Singapore on June 9, flew to LA, stayed one night by the airport, and then flew to Chicago the next day. That is about 26 hours of flight time, in case your wondering. It was wonderful to know we would stay grounded for a while. We enjoyed a few days in Chicago before heading to our reunion in Nauvoo.
It was FREEZING cold. The morning we walked out to Navy Pier the weather reader said it was 49 degree's - hardly bearable for our tropical climate acclimated bodies.
We spent a fun day on Navy Pier and exploring this fun city. Craig and I were able to reminisce of our days coming to Chicago to attend the temple during our days in Michigan.
We were able to visit many temples on our summer adventures - the first one being the Chicago Temple.
