After Phi Phi Island, we headed back to the mainland (well, kind of) to Krabi. We settled on Railay Beach - only accessible by boat and famous for it's rock climbing. Our hotel was perfect - situated right in between both the east and west beaches

This was our view every morning at breakfast - and usually for dinner too. Incredible surroundings that never ceased to awe us.

Krabi is full of outdoor, active pursuits - hiking, kayaking, and rock climbing. We did it all - will alot of beach and swim in between. We were anxious to try out the rock climbing so we did that the first day. Very proud of all the kids - they all made it to the top (except Bryant) - even mom and dad (I'll spare you those pictures)!

Ashlyn, Dallin, mom and dad did the longer climb - pretty scary at the top. Dallin did it twice - and was quite fast (he's been here before a does rock climbing at school).

Alexa scaled the rock like a natural!

We met up with our good friends from Singapore - the Steven's. The kids had so much fun with their friends - playing on the beach, swimming, hiking, kayaking, and just running around the resort.

The last evening we did this cool hike - a straight up climb. We had to hurry as it was just before dark. It took us to this incredible lookout - a great fabulous view of both sides of Railay Beach.

I miss this place already. We are so blessed to visit many countries and places while living here, and we love them all, but there are few places we go to where we would go back. This was definitely a trip we wouldn't mind repeating someday.

We went to Bruce and karen's on Sat. night to see all of the pictures you had sent with them....so incredible! Most of the places you went seem too good to be true! We also saw the pics of your kid's school - amazing! What an adventure! They told us you are coming for a month in July and hopefully for Christmas....hope so!
